Well, imagine that rubber band being about 30 feet long and imagine the end of it being attached to a piece of metal. Then imagine that piece of metal hitting your butt at full force. 
These guys were in a “Bungee Run“. You try to run a race whilst being attached to a bungee. This guys bungee snaps. It hits him in the buttocks, and he is in some serious pain.
